Welcome to the wonder-filled world of   About Us     Bible-mates™ Inc. is a new and exciting company. It was established in 2004 in Lawrence, Massachusetts with the purpose of creating, manufacturing and marketing Bible Character finger puppets. These unique and endearing finger puppets are used to facilitate the study and the teaching of Old and New Testament Bible stories to children. Our appeal is to the storyteller in us all. We encourage parents, grandparents and religious educators of all Judeo-Christian denominations, to begin telling the greatest stories ever told in this wonder-filled interactive way.   In addition this non-profit organization's goal is to provide job opportunities to underemployed and unemployed individuals. Bible-mates recognizes the difficulties the non-English speaking immigrant worker has in securing a job. We strive to encourage and to teach our workers the skills necessary to design and produce these endearing finger puppets. Although fluency in English is not a prerequisite for employment our workers are required to be enrolled or to have completed English language classes.   Past and present activities include extensive design detail and development of individual Bible Characters, hand-painting faces with patented stencils, creating fine period wardrobes sewn and sergered with advanced skills and marketing to religious educators and programs. All our endeavors to create this company have been achieved by volunteers who have donated hundreds of hours of skilled service and substantial financial support.
